September 1st Parade
As every year, we kicked off the new academic year in 2025 with the traditional parade of the entire Vilnius University community. On September 1st, students and professors from all 15 faculties marched down Gediminas Avenue toward the University’s Grand Courtyard, where we officially opened the new academic year.

Social Integration Evening
VUnity
On November 7th, for the fourth consecutive year, the integration event “VUnity”, organized by VU SR, took place.
The event was designed to help international students become better acquainted with Vilnius University, its community, and the services it offers. More than 50 participants attended a presentation by “International House Vilnius”. There were also sessions where success stories of integration were shared by the Mexican and French communities in Lithuania.
Participants had the opportunity to socialize informally and share their own stories integrating into the Vilnius University community.
International Students’ Day
Six units (FC, FPh, BS, FEBA, ŠA, FCHG) took the initiative to organize a celebration of International Students’ Day, once again demonstrating their sense of community and creativity.
Civil Protection + First Aid Training
Seven units (FC, LSC, FPhilos, FCHG, FMI, FEBA, IIRPS) organized and carried out civil protection activities in February and March. During the sessions, participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of emergency preparedness and how to respond during such situations.
A first aid training session was conducted in collaboration with students from the Faculty of Medicine, attended by over 70 students. During the training, participants had the opportunity to learn the basic principles of first aid.
