In 2025–2026, the Data Protection Group operated in accordance with the planned annual plan. During the reporting period, a new draft of the Procedure for the Processing of Personal Data at the Vilnius University Student Representation was reviewed and submitted, and it was approved by the VU SR Parliament. During the reporting period, commitments to maintain the confidentiality of personal data were collected from VU SR members appointed as the people responsible for personal data protection in their respective departments. Registration forms were reviewed in the VU SR registry of surveys involving the processing of personal data. When necessary, consultations were provided on the preparation of registration forms published publicly and/or privately.

Preparatory work was carried out for an updated informational publication, taking into account the updated procedure description, and a document for the data protection group intended for internal use—an incident management step-by-step plan—was prepared.

During the reporting period, three Data Protection Group meetings were held. Activities were continuously coordinated through communication between members and the President. By the end of the reporting period, plans for the upcoming period had been prepared.
